Here, we don’t just help you move forward—we help you repurpose your experiences into stepping stones for success.

Like a rose breaking through concrete, your strength, beauty, and potential are already within you. Our programs are crafted to empower, uplift, and equip you with the skills, mentorship, and support needed to build a life rooted in purpose. From career development and financial literacy to mental wellness and community connection, we are here to walk alongside you as you rebuild, reclaim, and redefine your future.

Your past does not define you—it prepares you. Join us at Concrete Rose Foundation, where your journey toward transformation starts today.

At the heart of this movement is Angela Smith, a visionary leader, builder of possibilities, and champion of second chances. Her personal journey is one of strength, redemption, and unwavering belief in the power of transformation. She has walked the path of adversity, faced life’s hardest trials, and emerged not just standing, but thriving. Angela understands firsthand that our past does not define us—it prepares us. With this truth, she has dedicated her life to ensuring that others, especially BIPOC women, men, and families impacted by incarceration or life’s hardships, have the tools and support to repurpose their experiences into powerful stepping stones for success.

Much like transforming a neglected space into a thriving environment, Angela believes in the potential of every individual to rebuild, restore, and rise. Through the Concrete Rose Foundation, she has created more than just a program—she has built a community of renewal. Here, individuals are given access to career pathways, financial literacy, mental wellness resources, and mentorship that help them navigate life beyond their past experiences. The foundation is rooted in the belief that when people are given the right tools and support, they can create a life of purpose, stability, and success.

Angela’s vision is bold: to redefine what’s possible for those who have faced barriers, to shift the narrative from limitation to empowerment, and to cultivate a world where no one is reduced to their past mistakes. She sees the untapped potential in every person, much like a rose growing through concrete—strong, beautiful, and full of promise.

Angela Smith, the Founder of Concrete Rose Foundation, believes in the undeniable beauty, strength, and potential within every individual—no matter their past experiences. She knows that life’s hardships do not define a person; rather, they can be repurposed into powerful tools for transformation when given the right opportunities.

Angela’s vision for Concrete Rose Foundation is built on the principle that every person deserves a chance to flourish. She understands that too often, individuals are judged by their past rather than their potential. That’s why she has created a foundation that does more than offer support—it empowers, equips, and uplifts. Through access to career pathways, financial literacy, mental wellness resources, mentorship, and community connections, individuals are given the tools they need to rebuild their lives with intention and purpose.

Angela believes in a future where past mistakes do not dictate destiny, where people are valued for their growth, not reduced to their hardships, and where everyone has the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to their families and communities. Her vision is clear: to shift the narrative, remove barriers, and create a world where second chances are not just given—they are embraced, cultivated, and celebrated.

Angela Smith is not just a builder of structures—she is a builder of possibilities. In addition to founding the Concrete Rose Foundation, she created Concrete Rose Construction (CRC)—a company that goes beyond construction to transform lives and communities.

At CRC, we do more than lay bricks and pour concrete; we build environments that foster growth, stability, and opportunity. Every project we take on is designed to honor the communities we serve, ensuring that the spaces we create reflect the strength, resilience, and potential of the people within them. But our mission doesn’t stop at construction—we are equally committed to building careers that provide livable wages, mentorship, and pathways to self-sufficiency.

The connection between Concrete Rose Construction and Concrete Rose Foundation is deeply intentional. Just as CRC constructs spaces that uplift neighborhoods, the Foundation constructs pathways for individuals to rebuild their lives. Many of the participants from the Foundation have the opportunity to gain hands-on training, certifications, and employment through CRC, providing a tangible way to turn their past experiences into sustainable careers and financial independence.

Angela’s vision is clear: breaking barriers requires both personal and economic empowerment. By intertwining Concrete Rose Construction and Concrete Rose Foundation, she has created a full-circle ecosystem where individuals don’t just find support—they find a future. Through skill-building, workforce development, and mentorship, we are repurposing both lives and landscapes—one foundation at a time.

Concrete Rose Foundation is more than just an organization—it is a transformative movement dedicated to walking alongside individuals as they rebuild, redefine, and reclaim their lives. We don’t just offer support; we provide a proven formula for lasting transformation that empowers individuals to break through barriers, recognize their worth, and step boldly into their future.

At Concrete Rose, we help participants reframe their past experiences, shifting the narrative from struggle to strength. Through mentorship, skill-building, and personal development, individuals learn to see their experiences not as setbacks, but as stepping stones. This process is what we call understanding their After Repurpose Value (ARV)—the renewed potential that emerges when past challenges are transformed into assets for personal growth and success.

We believe that every person holds value beyond their circumstances, and with the right tools, they can build the life they truly desire. Whether it’s through workforce development, financial literacy, mental wellness support, or career pathways, Concrete Rose Foundation provides the blueprint for individuals to construct a future that reflects their true potential.
